Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
In short: you don't need an account, we don't show ads, and we don't use tracking cookies. We keep the page you upload so your link works, and delete it when the link expires.
What we store
- The file or HTML you upload, plus its file name, size and the time it was created. We need these to serve your link.
- If you create an account (for paid plans): your email address, your Google account ID if you log in with Google, your plan, and which links belong to you. Login codes are stored only as a scrambled hash and stop working after 10 minutes or once used.
- Your email and chosen plan, only if you join early access for a paid plan. We use it to tell you when that plan launches, and nothing else.
- Reports that people send about a page: the link and the reason they give.
- Your IP address, briefly, to enforce the upload limit and stop abuse. Upload counts are kept per IP for at most one day after your last upload.
- Standard request logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for a short time, used to fix problems and investigate abuse.
What we don't collect
- No account, name, email address or phone number is needed to use DropMyPage.
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or rent data to anyone.
- Your light or dark mode choice is saved only in your own browser.
How long we keep it
- Free links: the page and its details are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Reports: deleted after 90 days, or earlier once they've been reviewed.
- Upload limits: per-IP counts are cleared one day after the last upload.
Who can see your page
Anyone who has the link can open the page. Links are hard to guess, but they are not private: don't upload anything you wouldn't want the people you share it with, or anyone they forward it to, to see. Pages aren't listed anywhere on DropMyPage.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores uploaded pages.
- cdnjs (run by Cloudflare) serves the code that draws QR codes.
- WhatsApp opens only when you tap "Send on WhatsApp"; we don't send anything to WhatsApp ourselves.
When we add paid plans, payments will be handled by a payment provider (such as Lemon Squeezy or Paddle). We will never see or store your card details, and we'll update this page before that starts.
Removing a page
If a page contains your personal information, or something that shouldn't be online, use Report a page and we'll review it. Pages that break our Terms are removed.
Children
DropMyPage is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Because we don't have accounts, the quickest way is to report the page concerned or contact us below with the link.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
