How to do it
- Save your menu as a PDF (most design apps and Word can do this).
- Upload it on PDF to QR code or the homepage.
- Download the QR code and print it on table cards, stickers or the window.
Change prices without reprinting
Every menu link comes with a private manage link. Upload a new PDF whenever prices or dishes change: the QR code on your tables stays exactly the same and shows the new menu.
Printing tips
- Print the QR code at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide; bigger for walls and windows.
- Keep it dark on a light background and leave a white border around it.
- Add a line like "Scan for our menu" so people know what it is.
- Test-scan a printed copy with two different phones before printing many.
Important: free links expire
Free links stop working after 7 days, so use them to test. For QR codes you print and leave on tables, permanent links are coming with DropMyPage Pro.
Questions
Do customers need an app?
No. The phone camera scans the QR code and the menu opens in the browser.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
Yes. Your manage page shows how many times the menu was opened, with a 7-day chart.
Can I use an HTML menu instead of a PDF?
Yes. Upload an HTML page and it works the same way, and HTML menus are easier to read on small screens.
Ready?It takes about 30 seconds.
